Apple has approved Opera Mini app for iPhone. Opera Mini clearly competes with iPhone default browser, Safari.
CEO of Opera Software say, Opera Mini will soon be available in App Store in 24 hours after the announcement. Opera Mini browser is used by more than 50 million mobile phones in the world, it would be provided free of charge.
Previously, many parties are actually quite doubtful whether Opera Mini will be allowed on App Store. Since Apple has been tight in the case of any application that may enter the App Store, especially if the application is compete with iPhone default applications.
Opera Mini for iPhone and iPod Touch has a similar feature on Opera Mini for another phone. These feature, include data compression up to 90 percent who make web pages faster and more efficient.
“We are very pleased offering iPhone and iPod Touch users a browsing experience with Opera Mini app,” said Lars Boilesen, CEO of Opera Software.
