iPad sold more than one million unitsApple stating on Monday (05/03/2010), that they has successfully sold one million iPad in less than a month. This proves that the iPad sold two times more than the iPhone when first launched.

“One million iPad within 28 days means less than half the time required to achieve the same amount for the iPhone, which is 74 days,” said Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

The first one million iPad units sold by Apple on Friday (04/30/2010) when iPad second version, iPad 3G, released to the market. If iPad first version released at 3 April 2010 can only access the WiFi, the 3G iPad can also access the AT & T’s broadband network

iPad is a new category of products made by Apple with 9.7-inch touch screen and using iPhone operating system. iPad sales start at 499 USD for the WiFi version and 699 USD for the 3G. High demand of iPad in the U.S. market, make iPad sales in other countries will begin on May 10, 2010.
