Apple sold over one million iPad units

Apple stating on Monday (05/03/2010), that they has successfully sold one million iPad in less than a month. This proves that the iPad sold two times more than the iPhone when first launched.

“One million iPad within 28 days means less than half the time required to achieve the same amount for the iPhone, which is 74 days,” said Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

Apple Request Gizmodo to Return iPhone 4.0

Apple would not iPhone 4G prototype fall to an outside party before the official launch. They reportedly sent a formal letter to the Gizmodo blog manager for the iPhone 4G obtained immediately returned.

Microsoft has introduced a mobile phone named KIN. This phone is designed for those active in social networking.

As quoted from Coolest Gadgets, Microsoft has announced the presence of KIN. The cell phone will be available in the United States (May), Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK (starting in August).

There are two models that will be introduced; KIN One and KIN Two. Microsoft also introduced a feature called the Loop, Spot and Studio. Features it is claimed will help users of social networking to keep active through KIN.

Loop is the main screen of the KIN. This screen will always display the latest things from your Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other social networking services.

Spot is a feature that makes easy to share in social networking. Content (photos, videos, web pages, location or status) and the targeted person can be ‘dragged’ into the Spot, and KIN user can choose in what manner he will share content.

Now, features Studio, is a storage feature content from the phone to the internet. Thus, users can access content KIN via any browser.

KIN will be the first mobile phone that has Windows features the Zune. This device is manufactured by Sharp and distributed by Verizon Wireless (U.S.) and Vodafone (Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK).

Microsoft Launches Mobile Phone Next Week

Jobs claimed iAd opportunity to produce up to 1 billion ad impressions per day from the tens of millions of users with devices made by Apple. He said so far Apple has sold about 50 million, not including the iPhone and iPod Touch iPad.

According to Tim Bajarin, president of consulting firm Creative Strategies, a promising breakthrough that made the Apple ads with new ways of distribution. Apple is also going to take mobile advertising market niche that has not been targeted by Google is currently focused on ad-based search service.

“It was clear that Jobs believes that the ads in the context of the more promising applications of mobile search services rather than generic,” said Bajarain as reported by Reuters on Thursday (4/8/2010).
